Whether they want to start a mentoring program, a community food project, a youth-led arts initiative, or something entirely new, we walk alongside them from idea to action.

HOW IT WORKS!

Step 1 – Submit the Interest Form
Students (and/or parents/guardians) complete the World Changers interest form below. This helps us understand who they are, what grade they’re in, and what kind of impact they want to make.

Step 2 – Vision Call
We review the form and reach out to schedule a short call or virtual meeting. Together, we’ll clarify their idea and match them with the right level of support.

Step 3 – Build Their Project or Nonprofit
We guide them through key steps such as defining their mission, identifying who they serve, planning events or services, and understanding what it takes (and what it doesn’t) to formalize their work as a nonprofit organization.

Step 4 – Highlight Their Impact on Applications
We help students document their work so they can confidently feature it on college, scholarship, and summer program applications.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

This program is a great fit for:

9th–12th grade students
Students who care deeply about an issue in their school, neighborhood, or the world
Teens who want to go beyond clubs and volunteer hours and actually lead something
Students who want their applications to tell a story of impact and leadership

WHAT YOU’LL GET

Depending on your needs and level of support, students may receive:

Guidance on shaping a clear mission and vision
Support choosing between starting a nonprofit, a community initiative, or a project under an existing organization
Help brainstorming events, programs, and services
Tips on recruiting volunteers or forming a small student leadership team
Advice on how to talk about the project on applications and in essays
